Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel.. #97

I cant help it....Neil Young's After the Goldrush has one of the best album sides of making me feel soo perfect for feeling like such dump... I feel like an old rope toy today, threw this on and before ya know .i wasnt alone, alone.. I was alone with my dog Neil and it felt as good as chasing toy poodles down the street .. By the time i got to Cripple Creek Ferry at the end of side two, I'm was smiling all the way to the other side..Just Like an old Texas dog used to say to me . It's the highs and lows of life that make it interesting.. Noone wants to be or to be with a Mr.Mediocre...I'd rather eat cat food..It aint been an easy year for this dog or the dude that i spoon with, and Being a dog it's not hard to get disappointed in you people..trust me....But some of yall' are just plain as#$!les to others... This is the track "Oh Lonesome Me" ..and maybe only a dog can hear it..but my man Mr.Young can bring a rabid pit bull to tears..Here's my buddy Neil doing a cover of 50"s country artist and songwriter Don Gibson's.... "Oh Lonesome Me"

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel #11

Mr. Burnz says the opening drum break on this track would make Jay-Z snap his neck..Woof to your motha. ! If ya listening HOVA, MC Ernie Burnz does remixes. Have your people get in touch with the Burnz's people. This track has got it all .. Bad ass drums, a solo by every instrument known to man and way too loud, accapella breaks, shit panning around everywhere...Basically everything a record from 1969 should have. "Street Walking Woman" from the album Rock and Roll by Vanilla Fudge who had the legendary drummer Carmine Appice on the boom baps for this record.

Joe Walsh's "Life's Been Good" from the album .."But Seriously Folks". Side two , track 4 released in 1978 and stinks of Cali living in the 70"s. I think i saw a sack of blow and a bikini come flying out the speakers while we had this puppy on 11.

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel.. #65

Sometimes i don't wanna get all doggy downer on everyone. I just wanna pretend that life's a giant milkbone shaped hot air balloon filled with bitches and Beggin Strips.. But with that said, I'm not a big fan of what would be todays version of bubble gum pop ( unless, forget it) .... But from 1969 ? Maaaan, that gets my tail waggin'and makes me dizzy with a quaalude delight. The bossman popped off when he heard the drums on this track ..This song has a savage break in it. So be listen' for it coming your way in some twisted musical moment by ol' Freshface. But for now get out the Batter Blaster ..Fill some balloons up with maic vapors and lets get it on, "Dizzy," a #1 song for Tommy Roe, in 1969. He co-wrote the song with Freddy Weller of The Raiders..

The Ernie Burnz Vinyl Kennel..........#18

Ernie Burnz has been looking to escape the rigors of being a Los Angeles canine and dreaming of the southern breeze.. A Southern belle bitch, jumping off decks onto trampolines, peein in the tall grass , running free on good whiskey and hambones. So to get him in the zone he's a pickin Rusty Wier's record "Stoned, Slow, Rugged" from 1974.. Below is a song not found on Stoned Slo.." It's called "Blue Haze" and none the less will it make a mountain dog leave his home faster than a sack of blow in Paris Hilton's pocket..

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel.. #33

I found the old mans stash. Convinced my ol'lady Poopsie to stay sober and make sure i don't swallow my tongue while i let my hair down for awhile and get in touch with my ancient ancestors chasing foxes through Sherwood forest. ..So If you're like me, feeling oddly blobbly or slightly gloooopy or maybe chocked up with chepooka, then sloooooosh through the wave of this infinite energy of Walter Carlos's autonomous composition with the uncanny affinity for making me lose my mind. This Music is a horror show stuck inside the Crane game at the arcade..I can hear the Dog angels trumpets sound and the devils Trombones turn my milkbones into creme brulee'. This is getting weird,.....gimmi another tab before i realize where i am.

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel

Sometimes im like Burnz .. what the f#%$??.. and then i hear the lyric come screaming at me "God help the troubadour who tries to be a star".. Burnz your a genius. Burnz lays it out there for all the Hollywood up and coming youngins' that are droppin like "pop off's" from Taneesha on the Bad Girls Club. Phil Ochs "Chords of Fame" from the album of the same title has some words of wisdom to it.. So Ernie says to all those with the chick pea in one hand and the bottle of Oxy's in the other. Dont play the chords of fame... Woof Woof!

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel

Ernie Burnz is no old man by any means. but he seemed a little down on himself ...ya know not being able to leap the 6 foot fences in a single bound anymore, Amber don't seem to look at him the same way..eating the same damn food every damn day.... So his kennel pick today is Dion's "I Used to be a Brooklyn Dodger" from the album "Return of the Wanderer", released in 1978... This one will bring any dog to tears.....Woof! Warning!! if you're suicidal.. this might not be the song for you.

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel

If Burnz was a musician he'd be lead guitar for sure...Bitches' love guitar players.. There's only one guitar player worth mentioning in Ernie's book and thats Keith m'f'n Richards.. Things have been kinda crazy around the kennel lately so he dropped a pinned out version of "19th Nervous Breakdown" off of the record Got Live If You Want It. Personally i think its more like the 119th one.. but i lost track after Nam'.

Ernie Burnz's Vinyl Kennel

Ernie Burnz's milk bone to pick of the day.. He's hasn't been feeling quite himself as of late...or it could just be that he's sick of apartment life like me....So it was "A Whiter Shade of Pale" that brought me and Burnz back to life. The first single off of Procol Harums self titled debut released in 1967 and features the beginnings of the monster guitar work of Robin Trower.
The video ....perfection

It's Ernie Burnz here.. I'm taking over the keyboard for this one cause this one hits close to this dogs heart and home....The only human being besides the one i share shelter with that has the blood of us dogs running through him is the one and only Tom Waits,..The dude is like an old shepard i used to run with. . So Here's one for the bitch i been dreaming of . and always do .. "Please Call Me, Baby" from the album Heart of a Saturday Night released in 1974. If you're listening baby. hit me up on the cell.... woof woof.
